Hi, I’m Chris Schell, and welcome.

I’m a San Diego native, and I’ve spent my life building deep roots here—both personally and professionally. I love this city, its people, and the unique character of its neighborhoods, from the historic charm of Mission Hills and Banker's Hill to the energy of Hillcrest, North Park, South Park, Kensington, Point Loma, and the surrounding communities that make San Diego such an incredible place to call home.

Real estate has been a central part of my professional life for more than 36 years, and I still genuinely love what I do. I’m proud to be with Coldwell Banker West in the Bankers Hill office, where I’ve been based since 2005 (when the office was Ascent Real Estate). Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients buy, sell, and invest in residential real estate throughout San Diego County—and I continue to approach every client relationship with the same commitment: personalized service, clear communication, and trusted guidance from start to finish.

My focus is primarily in the metropolitan San Diego market, and I work with a range of property types, including detached homes, condos and townhomes, multi-family/income properties, and select mixed-use opportunities. Whether someone is buying a first home, preparing to sell a longtime family property, relocating, or exploring investment options, I believe the process should feel supportive, informed, and tailored to their goals—not rushed or transactional.

At the heart of my business is something simple but important: relationships. Over the years, I’ve built my work around being someone people can rely on—not just for a transaction, but for honest advice, local insight, and long-term support. I care deeply about creating a positive experience, and I value the trust my clients place in me. Many of my relationships have grown into lasting friendships, and that is one of the most meaningful parts of this work.

I also believe in combining experience with innovation. Real estate continues to evolve, and I’m committed to using modern technology, online marketing, and current market tools to serve clients at the highest level—while still bringing the perspective and judgment that only come with decades of hands-on experience in the San Diego market.

Those interests are part of what keeps me grounded and energized, and they also shape how I connect with clients: with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine appreciation for each person’s story and goals.
